What you’ll need.

Mac: macOS 14 Sonoma or later, with a QWERTY-letter keyboard layout: US, ABC, or British QWERTY. AZERTY, QWERTZ, Dvorak, and Colemak layouts and Chinese, Japanese, and Korean input methods are not supported in this release. What works and what does not.
Keyboard access: Input Monitoring to read physical key presses; Accessibility (Device Control and Data Access on macOS 27) to replace text with the corrected word. Why these permissions are needed.
Trial: 30 days with every feature. No card or account. The trial starts at your first real correction. Setup and guided practice do not start the clock.

Install Hamburger.
Open the disk image, move Hamburger Keyboard to Applications, and launch it.
Choose a hand and allow keyboard access.
